At the moment, scribes are only able to attach a credit note to a job ID
e.g when working on a fulfilment job and you have posted that job to our print partner you can attach the credit note for postage to that job.
This allows us to easily see what the postage was for and approve it. Sometimes we get credit notes attached to different jobs and this delays the approval of the job and the credit note while we try to understand what the credit note was for.
Credit notes need to be created before marking a job as complete, this is why a pop up screen shows before you mark the job as complete asking if you need to raise a credit note for the job.
To create a credit note, you can go to the scribe payment page and click the credit note button. This will allow you to select the date and the amount of the credit note, as well as upload a photo of the receipt.
