Here are some examples of things that cannot be reimbursed via credit note
- Parcel packaging: Depending on the campaign the guidance is usually to return any fulfilment campaigns in the packaging they arrived in. If you need to purchase return envelopes/packaging for a specific campaign, please check with scribe support if this is something that can be reimbursed before raising a credit note.
- Scribe Kit items: We are unable to reimburse for new pens, lightboards etc we are able to replace damaged/faulty pens or lightboards if they arrived in your scribe kit damaged or not working. These items would be considered as 'tools or materials' that you use in completing your work so you could claim these as expenses in your tax returns when purchasing them.
- Ink: We have switched from providing ink cartridge refills to including the cost of ink in the price per card. This allows you to choose the type of pen and ink you want to write with and reduces the environmental impact of shipping.
- Unauthorised stamps: please only purchase stamps for a job if this has been confirmed with scribe support. If your parcel arrives and some stamps are missing, you will need to raise a query form for damaged stationery/missing stamps to scribe support and we may be able to ship out a new parcel to you with stamps included. If you are writing on a frequent campaign, do not request a job unless you have all the required stamps/cards/envelopes with you. If you are just a few stamps short and would like to take on a job while waiting for a new stationery delivery, please write scribe support to confirm.
