The stamp QA process is where you complete a form and take photos of your approved cards showing the cards laid out with the stamps affixed.
The team then check the photos against the job you have completed, matching the recipients to sign off that each task completed had the recipient info on the envelope along with the required stamp.
When a card is sent out and the stamp has come off or was not added, the end recipient may then be charged by royal mail/USPS to receive the card.
In the last few years there has been an increase in the number of scams related to paying to receive mail or parcels and generally it can be upsetting to receive a beautiful handwritten notecard from a company but being required to pay to release it.
With the stamp QA forms, this allows us to assure the client that every card posted has been double checked to ensure this won't happen. And if a stamp comes off during posting, we can check and confirm that you affixed all the stamps at the time of posting and it has accidentally come off during transit.
When working on a job, if you are required to fill out the form it will be sent to you via email so do keep an eye out for it.
You should not proceed to posting your job until you have completed the form and had sign off from the team that your cards are now able to be posted, even if your job has been marked QA approved via the platform.
